Opening Day Forecast

Do not watch the talking heads on television attempt to predict the weather. Pay no attention to the forecast on radio.

The expert has spoken.

From @stormchasernick, “Mid 40’s. Some drizzle/maybe a flake or two early. Cold NW wind.”

The wind will be blowing out to left-centerfield. Maybe Joey Votto can get an outside fastball and show off that opposite field power?

Power Stack Pack on MLB Network

We were watching Hardball Hijinks on MLB Network and noticed some good friends showing their love for our Redlegs.

This is what makes it hard

Watching the Reds lose the NLDS to the Giants was bad enough.  Having to say goodbye to friends at the park is absolutely heartbreaking.  Over the last three years, we have all grown very fond of Joey, the best and most loved usher in Great American Ball Park.

If Chuck D is the emotional leader of the Power Stack Pack, Joey is the Sergeant at Arms.  He keeps the peace under the Power Stacks, ensures that everyone is comfortable and is always there to provide a big hug.

The kids were devastated with the on-field results, but another level of sadness set in when it was time to leave the park.  We will see Joey and everyone else at Redsfest!
