EXCELLENT!!!! (In my Mr. Burns voice) I think a lot of Reds nation feels the same about this. The World Series after a sweep and failure to make the playoffs is highly optimistic but with the pieces we put together and the difference Pujols and Fielder made for their respective teams is enough to capitalize. I know a lot of people will say they're both worth 40 wins, but will defend that they weren't that important now that they're gone. Either way this is lined up to be one of the greatest season's we've seen in at least 17 years, if not longer.

I agree. There are too many people that root for individual players and don't care about their team. Baseball is a team sport and it should be looked at that in that way. I've been stuck around several "Prince Fielder fans" now that he has left the Brewers.

I think your last pagprraah really makes the point that you need to use both blogs and email newsletters and combining them provides the best of both worlds. Here are a few ways I like to combine blogs and email newsletters:- including blog post summaries as articles in the newsletter- creating a weekly/monthly email that contains a list of most popular posts (by page visits, comments, or Tweets/social shares)By using email as a way to communicate the info on your blog, you’ll get the SEO benefits of having the blog content on your site combined with the distribution channel that makes it easy for people to receive the info and act on it when it’s convenient for them.Sharon Mostyn@sharonmostynLike or Dislike: 0 0
