Votto, Bruce and Chapman make NL All-Star team
The National League All-Star team has been announced and will include three of our Redlegs. Joey Votto received more votes than anyone in the National League and will start at first base. Jay Bruce and Aroldis Chapman have also been selected to play on the team.
Two Reds that should be on the roster are Brandon Phillips and Johnny Cueto. Phillips has had a solid year offensively and is, without question, the best second baseman in baseball. The debate about Cueto should be whether or not he starts the All-Star game, not if he is on the roster.
