Reds Blogosphere on Griffey
Ken Griffey Jr. has retired from Major League Baseball. He was not the greatest Cincinnati Reds player, but I think he was the greatest player to ever wear a Reds uniform.
The Reds Blogosphere has weighed in on Ken Griffey Jr. retiring from baseball. I love reading the stories from the local (Cincinnati) media about how Junior was behind the scenes. He was at his best when the camera wasn’t on.
The recurring theme from the general bloggers seems to be remembering the night the Reds traded for Junior, the injuries he suffered during his time in Cincinnati and how we all felt a little piece of our childhood slip away when we heard that “The Kid” hung em’ up.
